Life is a ‘Celebration’
What is ‘Life’, an impromptu dream
In which your spontaneity flows like a stream ?
What is ‘Life’, an intangible book
That you can sense but not touch or look ?
What is ‘Life’, an intricate game
Tough, but which you must win to reach heights of fame?
What is ‘Life’, an intriguing riddle
A curious maze you ought to solve as you twiddle ?
What is ‘Life’ ? An ingenuous query,
For which an impressive retort I do not carry,
But, I do know that………..
Life is a, ‘Divine Adoration’.
Life is a, ‘Positive Affirmation’.
Life is a, ‘Novel Aberration’.Life and living in itself is a ‘Celebration’

A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed
To win my life’s battles I need a shield,
So I pray to You O! Lord and humbly yield,
That You as my friend is what I need,
For a friend in need is a friend indeed.
Be by my side, a friend whom I could wield,
To balm my heart so that it may be healed,
Whose every word I would dearly heed,
For a friend in need is a friend indeed.
I offer You my soul with all its sincerity sealed,
False ego and vanity once and for all peeled,
So that You may take me by my hand and lead,
For a friend in need is a friend indeed.
Forgive me my past sins, hatred and greed,
I implore You to purge me of my every misdeed,
As with this I have sown my salvation’s tiny seed,
For a friend in need is a friend indeed.
Yes, You have come to me in my hour of need,
O! Lord like a true Friend indeed!!!!
So I pray to You O! Lord and humbly yield,

Destination
I was a traveler looking for ‘Love’,
Going in search not knowing how,
It would touch you they said when your ego takes a bow,
Putting an end to all the world’s row.
I was a traveler looking for ‘Peace’,
It they said could heal the world with ease,
And give humanity a fresh lease,
So all this terror would unfailingly cease.
I was a traveler looking for ‘Happiness’,
It they said one could harness,
In a bid to fill our lives with richness,
For which the whole world was waiting in readiness.
Then it dawned on me to travel inward,
Find ‘Love’ in my heart and fly like a bird,
Find ‘Peace’ in my mind and move forward,
Find ‘Happiness’ in my thoughts cool and collected into a herd.
Yes, each of these three great quality,
Is the answer to all our quest in finality,
Aiding us to revamp in totality,
Raising man from beast to ‘Divinity’.

Beauty-A Definition
Beauty, beauty every where,
It’s in all, it’s right there,
Beauty lies in shades of dark and fair,
Though it’s all around, do we care?
Beauty is in nature,
In all the big or small creatures,
Beauty is in plants of rare stature,
Blooming and bright a colourful feature.
Beauty is love,
What the world needs now,
And peace spread by white doves,
To put an end to all the war and row.
Beauty is ‘Pure’; Beauty is ‘Truth’,
Beauty is ‘Joy’; Beauty is ‘Wisdom’,
Beauty is in ‘Age’; Beauty is ‘Youth’,
And Beauty is what makes the world ‘God’s Kingdom’.

An Ode to Mother
Is it fate, is it a divine sign,
Is it chance or fortune’s thin line?
Is it to my luck or my gain,
To have you…
Oh! Mother, sweet mother of mine.
I cannot help but define,
Your self ever so benign,
That uplifts me to refine,
Oh! Mother, sweet mother of mine.
Life goes on and all is fine,
With all its trivialities of dine and wine,
But for your touch, I still pine,
Oh! Mother, sweet mother of mine.
I’d always wish for your love reign,
To help me move on, all of life’s malign,
May our paths eternally entwine,
Oh! Mother, sweet mother of mine.
May be it’s God’s design,
To which I’d have to resign,
As in vain would be my whines,
To let you go…
Oh! Mother, sweet mother of mine.
